This user said that this beer was of the style: Belgian Dark Ale, and colour: dark

This seasonal version of Leffe Brune is similar to its year-round counterpart, but different. It is dark in colour, with great head retainment, and the aroms is wooden with sweet chocolate and caramel that grows and grows during the tasting. The appearance and aroma, as well as the shiny blue and red glass it is found in, make this one hell of an appealing Belgian Christmas ale.

The flavour contains lots of chocolate malt and sweet roasted malt, finishing much the same, but with a delicate spice. The palate starts off bitter but turns into sweet woody malt with pleasant spice. The tongue is a little oaky - indeed a sweet oak.

It is a full-bodied, medium sweet beer with lots of carbonation and a mouthfeel of gorgeous, very drinkable roasted malt and a texture that is somewhat sweet oak. A great example from the famous Leffe abbey brewery.
